Immediate Need - Life, Health, Disability Litigation Positions-Miami
Our client has retained us to conduct two searches for litigation attorneys to work directly with a senior litigation partner in the firm’s Miami office in the areas of ERISA litigation and life/health/disability defense litigation for a variety of high profile clients on a nationwide basis. The first position is for a junior level litigation attorney (5-6 years of experience) and the second need is for a more senior litigation attorney (8+ years of experience/junior partner level). The senior attorney must have demonstrated first or second chair trial experience and the junior attorney must have strong pre-trial experience (ie: have argued summary judgment motions, have exceptionally strong writing skills and have advanced analytical abilities). A candidate must have experience in both federal court (ERISA matters) and state courts. The positions will require that the candidate have specific and demonstrated experience in the areas of disability insurance and/or ERISA litigation. These are NOT traditional insurance defense positions and all candidates MUST have demonstrated and significant exposure to either life/health/disability litigation and/or ERISA litigation to be considered. Academic and other professional credentials should be strong. The Florida Bar, while helpful, is NOT required. For qualified candidates, the firm will consider a relocation package. Billable hours will be approximately 2,100+ hours and travel is limited.
